Greetings from Healing Heroes Network!  We hope everyone is having a fun filled summer so far, and enjoying the perks of living in the "Sunshine State", despite the seemingly never ending rain we've endured as of late...

Looking for something fun to do indoors?  If you love baseball, then all you have to do is head to The Trop!  To show their support and gratitude for our Heroes, the Tampa Bay Rays are currently offering "Rays Honor Passes" to all active duty and retired military service members and veterans.  All qualified pass holders may obtain TWO complimentary tickets to as many games as they would like to attend for the remainder of the 2015 regular season.

We are so excited that the Rays want to give back to our hometown heroes!

New England's Ale House supports Healing Heroes Network

Healing Heroes Network is excited to be working with New England's Ale House Grille in Palm Harbor, FL for the entire month of May to show local support to our hometown Heroes!  All month long, Healing Heroes Network has been the charity of choice and the Ale House is giving back in more ways than one!  If you missed the charity Firkin' Keg kick off, not to worry, you can STILL support Healing Heroes Network through many fun ways any day of the week...

Monday nights join us for fun, exciting and competitive Giant Jenga Tournaments!  Healing Heroes Network will receive 50% of the profits from all registrations!

Tuesdays are Trivia nights!  Bring your friends and enjoy some game play and drink specials all night long... $1 from every frozen drink sold goes to Healing Heroes Network!

On Tuesday, May 19th, Healing Heroes Network will be present all night long with raffles, giveaways and more! Pre-register for this special evening by contacting us at (727) 781-4376.


Help us close out the month with a bang on Wednesday, May 27th.  Healing Heroes Network will be on hand again with an info booth!

Lighthouse Project with BB & T Bank

      

Healing Heroes Network is excited to announce that we were chosen for the 2015 BB&T Lighthouse Project!

The Lighthouse Project is an initiative that BB&T embarked on several years ago, a company wide program to make a positive difference in the communities where BB&T branches are located.  When a BB&T Association Services representative contacted us at Healing Heroes Network, asking us to be a part of this amazing project, we were thrilled to accept the offer! The Lighthouse Project will be supporting two crucial Healing Heroes Network programs:Tablets For Heroes and Morale Packages.  

Tablets For Heroes is a program committed to helping veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), after serving in Iraq or Afghanistan since 9/11/01, by providing them with tablet computers for cognitive re-development, memory assistance and much more.  The Morale Package program strives to show our service men and women stationed overseas that we care and support them, by sending care packages to military bases deployed abroad with some of the comfort items from home that we take for granted, spreading hope and boosting morale among their bases.

The Lighthouse Project will be donating a number of tablets to Healing Heroes Network for the Tablets For Heroes program, and will also be purchasing and putting together Morale Packages for HHN to send overseas to military bases deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.  We are so excited to have this kind of support and partnership, right here in our own backyard!

Legoland Florida Giveaway!

Healing Heroes Network wants to say Thank You to our service members by giving back to our own local Military Heroes...  

We currently have TWO family 4 packs of admission tickets to Legoland Florida, and would like to give them away to TWO special military families in the Tampa Bay area!  If you are a Military service member, from any branch of the armed forces, retired or active duty, please email us NOW at info@healingheroes.org and tell us about your family!  (You will need to supply a copy of your Military ID and/or DD-214 upon request.)  Healing Heroes Network will choose TWO lucky families to visit Legoland Florida!

As always, we are eternally grateful to all of our military heroes for their service, and we know that their families sacrifice so much as well...  Through this giveaway, we wish to recognize the Heroes and military families right here in our own backyard, and hope to brighten someone's day by sending them on a fun filled day at Legoland!

"Sunday Funday" Military Appreciation Event!

Are you a military family based in the Tampa Bay area?  Or do you know of a hard working, deserving military family that has sacrificed their time and/or loved ones to preserve our nation's freedom by fighting for our country?  If so, then....

Healing Heroes Network is excited to announce our first ever "Sunday Funday" Military Appreciation event, coming this August to Clearwater Beach, FL!  On Sunday, August 24, 2014, we will be awarding FOUR local military families with family fun prize packs including theme park tickets, restaurant gift cards, merchandise from Ron Jon Surf Shop, and more!  We need your help getting local families on board, so here's how to nominate and vote...
