Remembering 9/11

"Where were you when the world stopped turning on that September day?"
- country singer, Alan Jackson.

On September 11, 2001, America was forever changed.  We can all remember exactly where we were, what we were doing, who we were with... like it was just yesterday.  It DID feel like the world stopped turning.  And it still feels like it was just yesterday.  Although America has moved forward with grace and dignity, we will certainly never forget that tragic and horrific day.

As we take time to reflect on the 13th Anniversary of a day none of us will ever forget, please join Healing Heroes Network as we come together to mourn, to remember, to honor and express our gratitude to those who demonstrated true bravery and heroism in it's purest form.

We at Healing Heroes Network pledge to live in honor of their sacrifice. That's why we've dedicated our mission to aid and assist the injured Heroes of the post 9/11 armed forces and their families.  We will continue doing our part to make a difference in the lives of our nation's wounded warriors, and we hope you will join us today in honoring them.

Patriot Day: 11 years past, but we still remember

September 11th. The date has such a multitude of feelings associated with it now. Over a decade since the terror attacks that devastated our country, today we are still affected by war, fear, and sadness.

The great thing about our country, though, is that our fundamentals have remained strong. We will not give up our freedoms, values, or way of life. We will not be conquered by fear or uncertainty. Every day, men and women of our armed forces fight for America. We are honored by having such strong and brave warriors representing our country.

So, join in remembering the victims of the 9/11/01 tragedy and those who fell in the line of duty fighting the wars brought on by these attacks. Today is a day of remembrance, but it is also a day to feel loyalty and love towards one another and our country.

Happy Memorial Day

Memorial Day is May 28th this year. While the day is usually spent barbecuing and enjoying the sun, it's important to remember the real reason for Memorial Day.

1st National Day of the Deployed

Today marks the 1st National "Day of the Deployed." The day is one of awareness of military personnel deployed in our current wars. Some locations are having events for this day, but since this is the 1st National celebration of it, few people know of its existence.

We Remember

Almost ten years ago our nation was shaken hard, but it did not fall. In remembrance of all the men and women who lost their lives in the tragic attacks of 9/11 and the wars that followed, HHN will be making videos of how we experienced that day, how it changed us, and what we hope for the future.

We'll post these videos during the week of 9/11, starting Sunday through Friday. Feel free to make your own videos and post them on our Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and tag them #WeRemember911.

It is our duty as survivors to make sure we honor the victims of 9/11 by becoming a stronger, better nation while.

We remember 9/11, and we'll never forget.
